Quarantine Stories – Day 14

Friday, March 27, 2020 – Day 14 of Quarantine

Well, I’m two weeks in now. I’m actually starting to lose track of time. I should have gotten more done than I have, but…

Finally switched to working on something else at work. I still can’t get ElasticSearch to work, so I’m trying to configure a database now. It’s doing much better. And I’m told that someone else will be helping me on ElasticSearch, but I haven’t heard anything from anyone yet.

I tried to play an online game with my local gaming group Wednesday night using Tabletop Simulator, but couldn’t get in for some reason. I just played Destiny 2 again.

And you want to know something Destiny? Overload Champions can DIAF.

I talked to my therapist again yesterday. I’m having trouble staying home all the time. Becky is driving me crazy. Of course, Becky wanted to go to the grocery store again as soon as I was done.

We have so much food in the house now. Our refrigerator, freezer, and pantry are so full that things fall out whenever we open them. But we still need more for some reason.

And now we’ve got politicians and business leaders saying that we need to send everyone back to work, even knowing that some of them will die. That’s something I never thought I would hear anyone say.

This is getting more and more surreal by the day. Let’s see what the weekend brings.
